About Canut

CANUT, Centrale d’Achat du Numérique et des Télécoms (Digital and Telecoms Purchasing Center), is a non-profit association under the French law of 1901 dedicated to local authorities and social landlords. All public institutions and non-profit legal entities under private law can benefit from the markets developed by CANUT: regions, departments, metropolitan areas, municipalities, EPCI, SPLs, SDISs, CDGs, etc. It was created in Lyon, at the instigation of some thirty departments, including its two founders (the Meurthe-et-Moselle Departmental Council and the Hautes-Alpes Departmental Council).
