GreenSoft 2026.1 introduces our first distributed authentication service, empowering administrators to seamlessly manage user access rights across digital infrastructure resources without requiring a central server. This architecture guarantees robust resilience against infrastructure failures and network mobility events, such as splits and merges.

The service allows administrators to establish authenticated user profiles and fine-tune access across critical resources—including Storage, Comms, monitoring tools, and admin capabilities. You can also define resource availability for anonymous users or disable anonymous access entirely to mandate systematic authentication.

Designed with a fully distributed architecture across infrastructure nodes, the service offers advanced flexibility and resilience:

Decentralized Management	Update the authentication configuration from any point within the network.
Standalone Operation	Each node can independently implement the configuration.
Automatic Synchronization	Changes are seamlessly synchronized across all nodes.
Seamless Merging & Conflict Resolution	If simultaneous changes occur during a temporary network split, configurations merge automatically once connectivity is restored. Conflicting settings are easily flagged for administrator resolution.
Integration with Other Tools	The service integrates smoothly with other GreenSoft monitoring and administration tools, supporting features such as user connection logging and blockchain-like storage transaction tracking.

GreenSoft 2026.1 increases the resilience of your organization by providing a distributed authentication service with no central server. The latest release takes communication resilience to the next level with the Mission Critical Communications Service (MCX), now offering content retention for post‑mission review, enhanced multicast performance, and expanded IPv6 support—delivering stronger, more reliable network operations.

💡 What’s new:

💬 Comms Application Upgrades (MCX): Persistent communications now enable preconfiguration of secure chat and voice rooms, while preserving all exchanges across deployments for seamless continuity and post-mission review.

📡 Multicast Improvements: We’ve made multicast communication smoother and more efficient at handling high‑bandwidth streams in tricky situations. It is now more stable and responsive, including when using WireGuard tunnels.

🌐 Expanded IPv6 Support: Early IPv6 support enables smoother connectivity and more reliable, future-ready network communications across devices and interfaces.

👉 What is the Internet of Edges?
An alternative digital infrastructure formed by interconnected edge devices that directly share their embedded resources and services—built for critical missions, designed for resilience, and operating without reliance on a central server.

This new version integrates AI-enhanced routing algorithms that intelligently adapt to changing network conditions for maximum stability, flexible distributed VPN services supporting both OpenVPN and WireGuard in client-to-server and peer-to-peer configurations, and enhanced Comms** capabilities, which allow administrator authentication, advanced room management, and secure communication controls.

*The GreenSoft is the key enabler of the Internet of Edges. It is a set of programs from low-level to end-user web apps that allows end-devices to:
– connect with nearby devices directly and wirelessly to create a dynamic and self-configuring network with quality of service (QoS);
– and to access and share a common edge cloud with a set of edge-based services (Push-to-Talk, instant messaging, file sharing, blockchain, etc.).
