Green Communications, in partnership with the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP), will present the outcomes of a rescue exercise involving an Internet of Edges (IoE) integrated with 5G technology. The presentation will take place during the Tech & Rescues Day 2024 organized by Atraksis on October 24^th in Paris.

Green Communications is proud to share the outcomes of a rescue exercise conducted in collaboration with the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP), involving an Internet of Edges (IoE) integrated with 5G technology. The objective is to deliver mission-critical services (MCX), such as voice, video, and data, to firefighters in the most challenging environments.

Green Communications designed an on-the-fly deployable 5G infrastructure combined with direct communications over Wi-Fi, featuring embedded and distributed MCX capabilities. This cutting-edge solution demonstrated its ability to deliver reliable, real-time MCX services over a wider coverage area, enabling firefighters to coordinate effectively and maintain safety even when disconnected from traditional networks.

The exercise was part of the ENE5AI project funded by BPI France through the France Relance program.

The new release 2024.2, introduces a (r)evolution of the TALK application. The local and distributed Push-to-Talk application now operates without any server, making the voice conversation service much more resource-efficient and resilient to mobility.

GreenSoft’s network simulator, the Packet Rate Limiter and Counter tool, now enables the simulation of different networking conditions on both access and backhaul networks.
