INNOVATION PROJECTS

IE6
“Internet of Edges for 6G”
Innovation Area: Telecommunications, 6G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Federated Machine Learning (FLM), Cybersecurity
The IE6 project aims to test and evaluate an innovative 6G network architecture that is fully distributed at the edge, dynamic, adaptive, and secure. The project will explore solutions for scalable cybersecurity at the edge and investigate the application of this architecture for federated machine learning (FLM).
Financed as part of the France 2030 “Telecom 5G” call for projects, IE6 contributes to the evolution of next-generation telecommunications.
AIR!5G
“Hybrid 5G / Satcom solutions”
Innovation Area: Telecommunications, 5G, Critical Communications
As part of this IPCEI on Microelectronics, Green Communications in collaboration with Airbus (Coordinator) and other European partners, intends to develop a set of innovative 5G capabilities for critical and sovereign communication solutions. The project’s objective is to develop hybrid 5G Satcom products for air, land, and maritime uses.
SCALE
Innovation Area: C-ITS, Edge Computing, Environmental Impact of Digital
The SCALE project brings together 70 beneficiaries and 19 associated partners from France, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Hungary. It aims to overcome the final obstacles to the industrialization of C-ITS in France and Europe, thereby contributing to large-scale deployment to strengthen European leadership. Green Communications contributes its expertise in edge computing, direct V2X communications, and the environmental impact of digital technology.
The project is funded by the CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency
